Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), often referred to as Graston Technique® or FAKTR technique, is an innovative, evidence-based soft tissue therapy that utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis and chronic inflammation. The tools enable clinicians to break down scar tissue and fascial adhesions. The therapy promotes healing, tissue strength, and tissue mobility by stimulating the production of cellular fibroblasts that help to remodel the scar tissue into more functional tissue.
